I wrote the song for my wife and gave her a surprise performance of the song on our wedding day. I wrote most the lyrics before going to the studio nug at the last minute we chose to change the vocal melody. This involved some intense re-writing from me and Alex. It’s a year since we made these videos. It was slightly stressful because they cost a lot and we wanted to get them right. It was also the first time we’d played these songs live with all the musicians. It was actually quite emotional to hear the horn parts played for the first time.
